How It All Started
I absolutely fell in love with it around my sophomore year of college and DJed all of my fraternity's parties that year (Delta Sigma Phi). Then I started exploring my own sound DJing at other events, banquets, weddings, clubs, and even venues.
Favorite Wedding Moment Ever…
I think one of my most favorite memories as specifically a wedding/event DJ was when I was doing an Alumni Banquet at GA Tech. It was an older/classier crowd but I was reading the room pretty well all night, however nearing the end of my time I noticed a few younger maybe mid twenties starting to dance so I started playing some early 2000s songs just to finish off strong and test the waters. All of a sudden for the last hour I was there (and since the speeches and food was over) I think literally everyone from ages 25-65 were throwing down Crazy in love by Beyonce and people were coming up to me and complimenting me and stuff and it was genuinely such an amazing thing to see.
Mick’s Favorite Part Of A Wedding…
As someone who loves to dance, my favorite part of a wedding reception is when all is said and done and everyone is just enjoying themselves and having a blast on the dance floor. One time my buddy Lucas and I danced so much we accidentally started a rumor that someone hired professional dancers to bring the energy up!

If you were attending a wedding as a guest, what's your "go to" dance move on the dance floor? Without a question, One More Time by daft punk. I am a huge daft punk fan so whenever I hear any of their songs I immediately move to the dance floor.
What's your spirit animal? Jaguar
Beach or Mountains? Mountains
What did you have for breakfast? Hash browns with hot honey and eggs
What's the last exercise thing you did? T-Bar Rows

What's one tip you'd give a couple planning their wedding?
Remember that this special day is all about you guys. Don't do or plan anything just because you think you "have" too. Every wedding is different so make your wedding yours :)
