Atlanta Wedding Band

Atlanta Wedding DJ Takes a New Spin

The Wedding Singer

Wedding entertainment has evolved and changed over the years - just like popular music.   In the 80's bands were so common that "if" a DJ showed up to perform at a wedding - the venue staff and wedding planners still referred to them as "the band".

DJ > Band

In the last 10 years, the atmosphere has changed to more of a PARTY party at the reception.  To get this kind of vibe, a DJ has shown that he/she is much more capable to bring the goods than a band.

Live Music

Being a musician myself - I love live music.  I especially love music improvised!  It's like the live performer is adding his soul and raw emotion into the party.  (Wow! Maybe a little heavy for a Wednesday morning - But that's how I feel.)

Now What?

So if a DJ can bring the goods & creating a PARTY party atmosphere - what a better way to spice things up than to add a live musician or two to the stage!  Now you've got the best of both worlds.

We call this the Mansion Package

Impress Your Wedding Guests

I know it may seem like a given to most brides, but some forget the impact that the wedding entertainment will have on their guests.  If they choose a cheap or poor DJ (usually the same), the guests are more likely to have less fun and leave early.  Why spend so much time and money on an incredible day and have everyone leave early?

Yesterday we had the privilege to perform a Sunday wedding for a couple in Nashville (Cedarwood).  Sunday weddings are notorious for people dipping out early.  Let me tell you... no one left early at this wedding!  As a matter of fact, most of our events the crowd chants “One more song!”

Here’s a quote from swheeler615 on TheKnot.com“...and at the end of the night, when it was time to go, our guest chanted "one more song!" It was clear, Hans was doing such a fantastic job with reading the crowd and knowing the best music to play, that no one wanted to go.”

Check out the highlight video below of the awesome time we had in Nashville with Meghan and David!  By the way, we are totally digging “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke as the best summer wedding hit!
